Pick the method by progression stage

Technology Points are designed to arrive with progression before they become a farming problem. Leveling awards regular points, Fast Travel activation adds one-time points, and first victories over Alpha Pals and Tower Bosses add more. Chasing a repeatable endgame loop too early spends time and infrastructure to solve a shortage normal exploration would remove.

Ancient Technology Points unlock a separate branch. Confirm which icon the locked recipe needs before farming; a route that returns regular points does not automatically solve an Ancient Technology shortage.

Early game
Level, explore, activate travel points
First clears
Alpha Pals and Tower Bosses
Passive later loop
Breeding-based manual route
Active later loop
Fishing, recycling or manual drops

The early-game route: turn the map into points

  1. 01

Open the Technology menu and identify the next two unlocks that change progression instead of buying every optional structure.

  2. 02

Activate unopened Fast Travel points along the route to the next objective.

  3. 03

Clear a first-time Alpha Pal only when its level and arena fit the gear you already carry.

  4. 04

Complete the next reachable Tower Boss rather than repeating an activity that cannot award another first-clear reward.

  5. 05

Return to the Technology menu and spend only enough points to open the next production, capture or travel bottleneck.

03

Choose a repeatable late-game loop

Current 1.0 gameplay shows three useful categories rather than one permanent fastest route. Fishing can combine active catches with a more passive setup and recovered materials can feed a Relic Recycler loop. Breeding-based routes trade Cake, incubation and processing infrastructure for lower-attention output. Active combat routes target Technical Manual drops and pair well with other endgame rewards.

Choose the loop whose prerequisites are already producing. Starting a full breeding line solely for points is poor value when the Cake or incubation chain is the real bottleneck. An active route is poor value when every run consumes more ammunition and recovery items than the unlock changes for you.

Lowest setup
Use an active route you already clear
Lower attention
Use existing breeding infrastructure
Mixed rewards
Fishing and Relic Recycler loop
Proof of success
Manual or point item visible in inventory

Test a method before scaling it

  1. 01

Record the starting point balance and clear enough inventory space to identify the reward.

  2. 02

Run one complete loop without changing difficulty, world settings or route midway.

  3. 03

Confirm whether the reward is a regular or Ancient point source before repeating.

  4. 04

Count the Cake, ammunition, time and Pal work that the loop consumed.

  5. 05

Scale only when the net result is better than simply completing unfinished map progression.

05

Why an older farm may not work

Search results mix pre-1.0 methods, world-setting demonstrations and clips labeled infinite without a stable current-version test. If a named target stops dropping the expected manual, verify the video's date and reproduce one run before rebuilding a base around it.

The current Technology Wiki still contains a total-point statement tied to version 0.7.0. That old total is not used here. The safe rule is to verify the current menu and the reward item in your own build rather than calculating the whole tree from an outdated total.
