Best base workers by assignment

The highest work suitability is not automatically the fastest real base. Large Pals can crowd the Palbox or interfere with routes. A slightly weaker, smaller specialist may keep a station active for more of the day.

Handbooks and the Pal Condenser can raise selected work suitability, so a Pal already integrated into your base may be worth improving rather than replacing immediately.

Best travel choices

Jetragon remains the speed benchmark for flying exploration. Panthalus is a fast 1.0 alternative with combat and automatic base-defense value, while Eidrolon combines mobility with transporting. The correct mount depends on whether raw travel time, fight contribution or base reuse matters most.

Keep a midgame mount until the endgame option is actually captured and saddled. A theoretical fastest Pal does not shorten today's route if the equipment technology is still locked.

Combat has no permanent single winner

Element matchups, partner skills and player weapons decide more than a universal rank. Jormuntide Ignis, Frostallion, Shadowbeak, Bellanoir Libero, Necromus and Paladius remain strong, but a raid-specific team should be built around the boss phase rather than copied from an all-purpose list.

For every combat recommendation, check three things: the target's element, whether the arena allows ground movement, and whether the Pal's partner skill amplifies the player's actual damage plan.

A better replacement test

   Identify the station, route or boss that is slow right now.

   Compare the candidate's work or combat role, footprint, food demand and availability.

3. 03

   Move only one role at a time, then observe a full production or fight cycle.

   Keep the old Pal until the new one proves the bottleneck improved.
