Why an old shortcut can produce the wrong egg

Palworld 1.0 changed parts of the breeding tree. Many search results and calculators still reflect Early Access combinations. Repeatedly getting the same unexpected species is a source-date problem before it is a random-number problem.

Verify that a guide explicitly covers 1.0 before spending a large Cake stock. This page records the longer current route because each step was published against the full-release breeding changes.

03

Prepare the chain before starting

This is not a one-Cake recipe. Count the links, secure the base parents and automate Flour, Berries, Milk, Eggs and Honey. Leave room for Incubators and label intermediate eggs so a useful parent is not condensed or dismantled by mistake.

If passive inheritance is the final goal, complete the species chain first. Then replace parents with clean trait carriers instead of asking the first four-generation route to also deliver a perfect build.

Why Anubis remains worth breeding

Anubis is no longer the absolute top crafter after 1.0 specialists arrived, but it remains a fast, accessible all-round worker with Handiwork, Mining and Transporting. Early breeding can improve a base long before the level 55 Alpha fight is comfortable.

Its value rises again beside Sekhmet, whose Desert Empress partner skill boosts Anubis work at relevant facilities.
