Match the source to the shortage

A complete drop list is less useful than choosing the right production mode. Merchants trade Gold for time. Hunting trades combat and travel for a quick batch. A Ranch trades setup space for a continuing supply.

If Polymer repeatedly stops the weapon or equipment line, solve the supply chain instead of looking for a slightly denser hunting route each session.

Small urgent batch
Buy from a merchant that stocks Pal Oil
Passive supply
Dumud or Dumud Gild in a Ranch
Active farm
Defeat or capture oil-dropping Pals
Primary demand
Polymer, weapons, Pal Gear and fishing equipment

Build a Dumud Ranch supply

  1. 01

Catch Dumud in a desert region or use Dumud Gild after that variant is available to you.

  2. 02

Build a Ranch with a clear entrance, food access and nearby dedicated storage.

  3. 03

Assign the Pal to the base and place it at the Ranch if Mining or another job pulls it away.

  4. 04

Add Transporting capacity so drops do not remain on the Ranch floor.

  5. 05

Watch for one Pal Oil drop and one successful storage delivery before adding more Ranch workers.

03

Use hunting for an immediate batch

Dumud and Digtoise make the desert a practical active route, while larger Pals such as Mammorest can supply more material per encounter. The best target is the one your current build defeats safely on a route you already need.

Capturing can advance Pal collection while supplying drops. Do not turn a midgame material shortage into a dangerous late-game hunt merely because a large Pal has a higher headline yield.

04

Keep Polymer from becoming the next hidden bottleneck

  1. 01

Reserve a labeled storage slot for High Quality Pal Oil rather than mixing it with sellable drops.

  2. 02

Check which queued recipes consume Polymer before converting the entire oil stock.

  3. 03

Run one Ranch-to-storage cycle and one Polymer craft cycle to expose the slower step.

  4. 04

If Ranch output is adequate, improve transport or production work instead of adding more Dumud.
