How a raid starts
- 01
Collect the correct slab fragments from the source listed for that boss.
- 02
Combine enough fragments into a slab at a Handiwork-capable crafting station.
- 03
Use the slab at a Summoning Altar.
- 04
Choose the Raid Area unless you intentionally built a disposable raid base.
- 05
Defeat the boss inside the ten-minute limit and collect the drops before rebuilding the next attempt.
Current progression map
Boss level is only a rough gate. Health, phase mechanics and the quality of your deployed base team create a much larger jump between normal and Ultra variants. Start with Bellanoir only when your equipment and Pal roster can finish comfortably inside the timer.

Where the summoning items come from
Bellanoir, Bellanoir Libero, Blazamut Ryu and Xenolord fragments are associated with dungeon treasure chests. Hartalis normal fragments also come from dungeons, while the current Wiki lists Feybreak Expeditions for the Ultra route. Moon Lord uses Celestial Sigils connected with Sealed Realm of Terraria chests and prior clears.
Ultra summoning items are often earned from the corresponding normal boss. That makes a normal clear both a reward and an admission ticket to the harder test.
What a successful clear gives you
Raid rewards include Ancient Civilization Parts and Cores, Training Crystals, accessories or schematics, and usually an egg that hatches into a usable version of the boss. Moon Lord is the notable exception to the normal egg pattern.
Do not pick a raid only from the rarest drop. The best farm is the tier you can clear repeatedly without destroying infrastructure or exhausting a large ammunition stock.
Patch awareness
Version 1.0.3 fixed cases where some Raid Boss fights did not proceed correctly and corrected Moon Lord reward settings. Update both server and clients before diagnosing a mechanic from an older build.
